“ Second best food we had in spain. Great job from the chef. Amazingly good food for amazingly cheap. It was surprisingly empty tho. Definetely deserves more visitors. ”
“ Delicious food, fresh and tasty. Great service. We got the lunch special, good portions at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!! ”
“ Had lunch at La Marmita's outdoor tree shaded area, very nice on a good weather day. Enjoyed my Codillo (ham hock) very much. Crispy skin and tender meat, fries were crispy too. Service was friendly, will recommend. ”
“ I really liked La Marmita. Toledo is definitely a tourist town, but La Marmita is just off the beaten path enough to be charming and unpretentious while also excellent. The service was great and friendly and, as I said, unpretentious. The menu features regional dishes such as pork loin (I had it with vinegared red peppers) and Carcamusas, which is a local braised pork dish. The wines were great. ”
“ We got the lunch special and the food was really really good! I love the bolognese pasta- juicy sauce, and fresh pasta! The apricot pork cheeks were really tender soft and flavorful. But the star of the show for me was the hake fillet!! It was so buttery and perfectly seasoned. The meal ended off with a nice dessert, and i really enjoyed the flan. The portion sizes are huge here, so you will be sure to leave with a happily filled tummy. Edit: Special mention to the olives they served, best olives I have ever tasted in Spain! ”
